Simple Grilled Peaches
These juicy grilled peaches are a perfect summer dessert with a caramelized cinnamon and brown sugar glaze.
recipesbynani.comGrilled peaches are one of my favorite ways to turn ripe summer fruit into a simple and satisfying dessert. The grill brings out their natural sweetness and adds a light smoky flavor that tastes just like summertime on a plate.
They are incredibly easy to make and look beautiful when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My biggest tip is to choose peaches that are ripe but still feel firm enough to hold their shape on the grill grates.
🧺 Ingredients
- 4 large ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional
👩🍳Instructions
- 1
Oil your grill grates well and preheat your grill or grill pan to medium high heat.
- 2
Brush the cut sides of the halved peaches with the melted butter.
- 3
Place the peaches on the grill cut side down and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until nice char marks form.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
- 5
Flip the peaches over and sprinkle the sugar mixture onto the cut sides.
- 6
Cover the grill or pan and cook for another 2 minutes until the sugar melts into a bubbly glaze.
- 7
Remove from the heat and serve immediately while warm.
💡 Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When you want to enjoy them again, warm them up in an air fryer at 350 degrees for 3 minutes, but try to avoid the microwave as it can make the fruit too soft.
