Nani's Classic Key Lime Pie
A refreshing and zesty dessert that balances tart lime juice with a sweet, creamy filling.
recipesbynani.comThis Key Lime Pie is a favorite in my house because it is the perfect end to any summer meal. The contrast between the crunchy graham cracker crust and the smooth, citrusy filling is something special that everyone seems to enjoy.
My top tip for this recipe is to use fresh lime juice whenever you can find it. It makes a big difference in the flavor compared to the bottled stuff, and your guests will definitely notice the difference.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, egg yolks, lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.

Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Before serving, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and spread it over the top of the chilled pie.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 3 days. For a pretty presentation, add extra lime slices or a sprinkle of lime zest right before you serve it to your friends and family.
