Homemade Italian Dressing
This bright and tangy Italian dressing is so much better than anything you can buy in a bottle.
recipesbynani.comThere is nothing quite like a fresh salad tossed in homemade vinaigrette. Once you try making your own dressing at home, you will see how easy it is to control the flavors and keep out all those extra preservatives.
My favorite thing about this recipe is that it stays fresh in the fridge for a long time. Just give the jar a good shake before you pour it over your greens to make sure all those lovely herbs are well mixed.

- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
๐ฉโ๐ณInstructions

If using a jar, screw the lid on tightly and shake it vigorously for about thirty seconds until the oil and vinegar are well combined.
- 3
If using a bowl, whisk the ingredients together until the dressing looks emulsified and creamy.
- 4
Taste the dressing and adjust the salt or pepper if you prefer more flavor.

๐ก Tips
Store this dressing in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. The olive oil might solidify when cold, so just set the jar on the counter for ten minutes before serving and give it a quick shake.
