Easy Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
These bite sized sliders are packed with savory steak, melted cheese, and tender vegetables, making them perfect for any gathering.
recipesbynani.comThere is something so satisfying about a good Philly cheesesteak, and these sliders are the perfect way to feed a hungry crowd. They are hearty, cheesy, and always the first thing to disappear at a party.
My favorite trick for this recipe is to make sure you slice your onions and peppers thinly so they get nice and soft alongside the beef. It makes every bite perfectly tender.
🧺 Ingredients
- 1 package of 12 slider buns
- 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye or deli roast beef
- 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 6 slices of provolone cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
👩🍳Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a baking dish.
- 2
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Add the sliced onions and peppers, cooking until they are soft and golden.
- 3
Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until just browned. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- 4
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves into the prepared baking dish.
- 5
Layer the beef and vegetable mixture over the bottom buns, then place the provolone cheese slices on top.
- 6
Place the top half of the buns over the cheese layer.
- 7
Whisk the melted butter with the garlic powder and brush the mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
- 8
Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown. Serve while warm.
💡 Tips
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. They reheat beautifully in the oven at 300 degrees until warmed through. For a little extra kick, try adding some pickled jalapeños before baking.
