Easy Italian Deli Sliders
These tasty little sandwiches are packed with savory Italian meats and melty cheese, making them the perfect crowd pleaser.
recipesbynani.comThere is something so special about these little sliders. They are always the first thing to disappear at my family gatherings because everyone loves that salty combination of salami, pepperoni, and ham tucked into a soft bun.
My biggest tip is to brush the tops of your buns with a little garlic butter before you bake them. It adds that perfect golden crunch that makes these taste like they came straight from a neighborhood deli.
🧺 Ingredients
- 12 pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/4 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
- 1/4 pound hard salami, thinly sliced
- 1/4 pound pepperoni slices
- 6 slices Provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained and patted dry
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
👩🍳Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2
Keep the rolls connected as a block and slice the entire slab in half horizontally using a long serrated knife.
- 3
Place the bottom halves of the rolls into a 9 by 13 inch baking dish.
- 4
Layer the ham, salami, pepperoni, and roasted red peppers evenly over the bottom buns.
- 5
Place the Provolone cheese slices over the meat layer, then put the top half of the rolls back on.
- 6
Whisk the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
- 7
Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- 8
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
💡 Tips
These sliders are best served warm straight from the oven. If you have any leftovers, wrap them tightly in foil and keep them in the fridge for up to two days, then reheat them in a low oven until the cheese melts again.
