Easy Air Fryer Mahi Mahi
A light and flaky white fish dinner that comes together in just a few minutes.
recipesbynani.comMahi mahi is one of my favorite fish to cook because it has a mild flavor and holds its shape so well. Using the air fryer makes this dish incredibly easy since it cooks evenly and creates a lovely crust without needing much oil at all.
My top tip for this recipe is to pat your fish fillets very dry with a paper towel before adding your seasonings. This helps the oil and spices stick better, ensuring you get a nice sear on the outside while keeping the inside tender.
🧺 Ingredients
- 2 mahi mahi fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
👩🍳Instructions
- 1
Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2
Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry using paper towels.
- 3
Rub the olive oil all over the fillets.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and oregano together.
- 5
Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the fish.
- 6
Place the fillets into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- 7
Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- 8
Remove carefully and serve warm.
💡 Tips
Serve this fish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a side of roasted vegetables. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days and reheat gently in the air fryer.
