Cheerful Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treats
These colorful treats are a sweet and crunchy twist on the classic marshmallow square.
recipesbynani.comEveryone loves a good marshmallow treat, but adding Fruity Pebbles makes them so much more fun. They are bright, crunchy, and packed with that fruity flavor we all remember from childhood breakfasts.
I love making these when I need a quick dessert that everyone will enjoy. My secret is to keep the heat low when melting the marshmallows so they stay nice and soft.
🧺 Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
👩🍳Instructions
- 1
Grease a 9 by 13 inch baking pan with a little butter or cooking spray.
- 2
Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.
- 3
Add the marshmallows to the pot and stir constantly until they are completely melted and smooth.
- 4
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- 5
Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal until every piece is coated in the marshmallow mixture.
- 6
Press the mixture into your prepared pan using a greased spatula or piece of wax paper, but do not press down too hard or they will be tough.
- 7
Let the treats cool at room temperature for at least thirty minutes before cutting them into squares.
💡 Tips
Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days to keep them chewy. If you want an extra treat, drizzle some melted white chocolate over the top once they have cooled.
